What a great event this year….cold but GREAT! Thank you to Keith Moody for the wonderful photos!
The 2012 Minority Chef Summit was held in Jacksonville, Florida, January 13 through January 16. The goal of the 2012 Minority Chef Summit was for chefs to come together to share their passion and heritage. But it was also a time to look ahead to their future in the culinary world and create their vision. And of course it was a great chance for fellowship, cooking and enjoying world class food and wine.
Culinary Wonders USA, Black Culinary History and Cuisine Noir Magazine joined forces to plan and present this first summit and for three days minority chefs from as far away as Seattle, New York and Tennessee assembled in Jacksonville.

With your help our first annual Celebration of Nurses event was a great success! Held at the EverBank field, we had over 300+ happy attendees ranging from nursing students from every hospital and every school in Jacksonville as well as many other local professionals in the healthcare industry. We honored many great nurses in our community and we danced the night away. We look forward to next year and look forward to your continued support.
